The main purpose of this paper is to, first, design new forms of ultra-wideband printed antennas. These forms are eventually horizontally symmetric, containing holes of different shapes and sizes. These antennas were simulated, using IE3D or ADS2008 software, in order to analyze and study the impact of these holes and of the antennas’ shapes, on the power, gain, reflection coefficient and other characteristics. It contains the study of 17 antennas, between circular and triangular ones, showing interesting results and presenting UWBs in the range of 20GHz to 50GHz.
